  • Batch Processing: Once your Positioning Pipelines are in place, you will benefit from our very powerful batch engine: Process thousands of data sets with a single click!

Positioning Pipelines

A Positioning Pipeline covers the entire path from reading and checking your log files, processing it, and outputting the results. All steps are customizable to fit your needs:
  • Step 1: Reading your original log files: Many file formats are generically supported, including RINEX, Novatel SPAN, JPS, CSV, and many more. If your sensor's log file format is not yet supported, we will add this functionality. We avoid intermediate file formats, keeping things simple and efficient
  • Step 2: Pre-Processing Steps are being executed, confirming the plausibility of all input files, and of the data set as a whole. Required external files are being identified and downloaded automatically, like GNSS reference station data or atmospheric models.
  • Step 3: Processing your data set using a pre-defined job template, including all of your custom parameters settings.
  • Step 4: Generation and provision of output files: Several formats are generically supported for outputting your point and trajectory results, including customizable CSV and binary files, KML, and others. You can choose from a large set of possible output columns, e.g. the estimated position uncertainty, the number of satellites used, the ambiguity fixing status, and many more.

Supported Hardware

The AlgoNav Positioning Cloud generally supports sensor hardware of all relevant types, grades and manufacturers.
  • GNSS receiver log file formats of all brands are supported, as long as a full file format documentation is available. This is (mostly) the case for Novatel, Javad, Trimble, ublox, and many more. High log data rates (100 Hz and more) are supported.
  • Inertial Measurements Units (IMUs) of all brands and grades are supported. If a log file format is not already supported by our software, documentation may be required on how to access the raw accelerometer and gyroscope measurements.
  • Auxiliary Sensors of various types can be integrated into your positioning pipeline, like odometers, optical sensors for visual odometry, barometers, magnetometers, and others.

Individual Customer Modules

  • Our unique positioning cloud architecture in conjunction with the Positioning Pipelines as explained above, we can implement virtually any customer-specific modules.
  • Examples: Specific strategies used in the positioning algorithms; specific pre-processing/pre-evaluation of sensor data; special output formats, plausibility checking and QCing of the positioning results.
  • Customer Modules are confidential (under NDA, if requested) and cannot be accessed by other customers.

Data Safety and Privacy

No customer data will be shared with any third party. AlgoNav fully implements and even exceeds GPDR regulations by not using any non-EU third-party services. All servers are hosted in German data centres.
For enterprise customers with very high data privacy requirements, the AlgoNav Positioning Cloud can be deployed for local hosting inside the customers data infrastructure. It can be operated fully offline.
