Who we are

AlgoNav is a young team of positioning geeks enthusiasts, with backgrounds in geodesy, computer science, robotics and traffic engineering. The company was founded by Dr. David Becker, who has worked on positioning algorithms and sensor fusion since 2004. Our algorithms combine modern AI approaches with established parameter estimation techniques. We thereby regard ourselves as a leading edge specialist for sensor-fusion and positioning.

We are situated in Darmstadt (Germany), only 30 minutes away from Frankfurt's international airport.

Data Safety and Privacy

No customer data will be shared with any third party. AlgoNav fully implements and even exceeds GPDR regulations by not using any non-EU third-party services. All servers are hosted in German data centres.
For customers with very high data privacy requirements, our software can be deployed for local hosting inside the customers data infrastructure. It can be operated fully offline.

The AlgoNav Weather Forecast...

...is mostly cloudy: We are currently implementing our own post-processing cloud service.
This will make our software directly available to our customers - starting in autumn 2024!

Why sensor fusion?

The smart and AI-supported fusioning of heterogenuous sensor set-ups can outperform more traditional approaches (GNSS only or GNSS+IMU) in terms of quality and costs.
Want an example? Urban canyon positioning with a smartphone camera, a $500 GNSS receiver and a $1,000 IMU can many times outperform a more traditional set-up using a $10,000 geodetic RTK GNSS receiver in combination with a $50,000 tactical-grade IMU.
